Yep! I am! Kaileigh has ZERO teeth. No sign of any coming anytime soon, probably not for months if I had to guess. She has no hair at all so people seem to assume she is a HE, even though her ears are pierced and wearing pink. Every where I go people always ask her age, and then respond with "oh wow, she is so little!". I am still worried about her feet, as they are still not turning the right way, and will be re-evaluated at 12 months. She doesnt say Mama anymore, and hasnt for a while. She has been waving since 7 months and will not wave at all anymore.

So join me in a pitty party please....rant away about your worries or fears.

I think she's beautiful. People thought my DD was a boy for the longest time b/c she had no hair, and also acted astonished to see her walking b/c they though she was waaay younger than she was.

My rant:
Hunter is still rolling around like a 6 month old. He won't sit up on his own, and will only pull up to standing with my assistance. I also worry about his one leg that turns out when he walks holding my hands. It's like he has a peg leg.

Lol, I always have the opposite problem, people always assume Noah is anywhere from 12 - 18 mos so when he doesn't talk or wave at them they are shocked.

I worry about his speech as he only says a few sounds, but mostly because ds 1 was a slow talker.

He also has very waxy ears.

Mine stopped waving as well. It's just because she's stubborn though, you can tell. She'll still wave if it's HER idea, but if we ask her to she won't anymore.

Luca's doing fine developmentally but he is on a bottle and food strike and is not sleeping. If I make him something pureed he refuses to let me feed him because he wants to do it himself, if I make him finger food he just drops it off the side of the high chair. He wont sit still long enough to have a bottle and he is waking up all night screaming because he's starving and tired. He used to eat 2 jars of babyfood in one sitting, now I'm lucky to get 2 spoons in his mouth before he clamps!

Well I think she's adorable. And as far as the he vs she thing some people are dumb. I had Caleb on the changing table in a restroom. His diaper was off and his manhood was flapping around in full sight. This woman came up and said, "what a beautiful little girl" I was like umm....do you not see the PENIS!

My rant ... Caleb is not sitting up on his own yet. He is now refusing to take his formula and only wants what we are eating. Also we have that stupid eye surgury coming up.

we get the boy thing alot too. she has very little hair so people always assume she is a boy. Doesn't matter what colour she is wearing.

She screams bloody murder when trying to change her.

Her eyes are still very very watery (she had blocked tear ducts). She always looks like she's crying.

All that being said, she's the BEST baby and I love love love her

Anyone who thinks she is a boy is a moron, she is such a girly little baby girl!
Seriously don't worry about the teeth, it's literally like they aren't there one day and then BAM they are.

A friend of mine's daughter didn't cut her first tooth until the week of her 1st birthday!

LOL Everyone thought my daughter was a boy until I started putting hairbows on a few weeks ago. I don't think it matters what hairlength they have, they are boys unless they have a headband or hairclip. Unless they have their little pee-pee on display like Caleb, then they are girls LOL.

My thing is my daughter won't feed herself. I came home with this amazing bbq chicken sandwhich, I was FAMISHED, but I had to feed her first. She also won't feed herself from her bottle or sippy.

Ugh, just had to take a break mid-sandwhich, and mid-post, to feed her her bottle.

I get people all the time telling me what a cute little girl I have! Maybe because Luca has quite a bit of hair, but even still he's almost always in blue. :s

I also get the girl thing with Emmett once in a while....especially at the doctors office when he is just in a diaper, haha.

One of Emmett's ears is still on "watch"...we have to get him reevaluated in a few months as well.

Leah hasn't been eating as much of her solids. She won't touch purees AT ALL. It was so much easier and faster to spoon feed her :: She doesn't make hardly any consonant sounds...really only "bababa" or "gagaga." I've only heard dada a few times, but never mama. When we go out to eat, she won't sit in the high chair, and she tries to act like we're killing her the whole time we're eating. She's just been a complete wild child recently.

I get the small baby thing all the time, Shannon. It's so annoying!

I pretty much covered my pity party in a separate thread a few days ago. :-(

I can't imagine anyone thinking Kaileigh is a boy! Even though she doesn't have a lot of hair, she looks feminine to me.

Still no sign of teeth here either. And no sitting up on his own and no crawling at all yet. He's been more clingy than he used to be and whines a lot more now but I think that's common. He's not cruising, not saying any words, not waving or pointing or anything like that. He doesn't really interact or respond to things like some babies are doing now - he's still always in his own baby world I think. And he's getting to where he moves around a lot at night and he's so much bigger so sleeping is not as comfy as it used to be. And he's still not eating very much no matter how much we offer him. I think his bottles are just sufficient still, even though we've gone from 4 to 3 most days, and he still isn't terribly interested in actually eating food.

Our biggest (and really only) thing is his babbling. It's such a struggle to get him to use consonants and babble most days. I went through years of speech therapy and I really don't want him to have to do the same. Sigh.

Scarlett has been in her mommy phase for a long time. She whines and cries when we are more than three feet apart. I hide from her sometimes.

I have an infection in my wisdom tooth and am in a lot of pain. I have to have them removed sometime next week. So I will be in even more pain.

Good luck on the wisdom tooth extraction- at least they'll hook you up with some pain killers?

My gripes:
She's still not sleeping through the night again, but at least she's only waking up once or twice now. I didn't appreciate what a good sleeper she was until she stopped being one. Summer break is almost here and my 5 yr old nap disrupter will be running amok, destroying baby's schedule

PLEASE have someone there to help you after you have it removed. I had my top left removed about 3 months ago and had no idea I would need help. DH wasnt at work but he was at a meeting for 3 hours, and in that time, I got nauseous, lightheaded, I fainted, came too it, and had to call me neighbor over to help, until dh got back home. I was feeling fine until about 4 hours after I got home so it wasnt instant.
