If anyone has read one of the no cry sleep solution books or secrets of a baby whisperer, can you share any tips that worked for you? I am going to order one of these books on amazon but I know it will be some time before I get it and actually read thru it.

I'm kind of desperate here and don't know what to try next. My LO doesn't want to settle down for naps any more. At bedtime he only settles down when rocked, and he wakes up crying during the night wanting to be rocked. CIO isn't working for us - I think it has just made things worse.

I don't have any trouble with Hallie sleeping, but a friend of mine has lots of trouble with her baby. Her doctor told her to give the baby a dose of Benadryl before bed. It's strong enough to relax their little bodies but not so strong that it really affects them. Hallie only really struggles with sleeping during teething and we just use tylenol and that solves our issue. I rock her to sleep every night and for every nap (she's a little spoiled!). She doesn't really fall asleep any other way. But it's just part of our routine. I hope you find something that helps!!!

The main thing that NCSS emphasizes is establishing a routine and sticking with it.
