How long does your baby generally stay awake between naps?
Ty is roughly 3-4 hours and then he has had it and must go down for a nap Thats about all my little man is good for at at time without complete meltdowns.

Well London can go up to 6 hours. She normally wakes up at 630 and takes a nap about 12-1230 and then a 30-45 min nap about 5 then she goes down about 830 nightly. Sometimes she will go and be fine with 1 nap a day.

Leah has been taking two long naps recently. One from 9:30-11:30, and another from 3-5. I don't know what's gotten into her, but if you wake her up too early...she's a total meanie. Not to hijack, but how do you guys put the LO's down?

Noah usually takes a nap 9-11 and then 1:30 -4. But today he didn't get up for the morning until almost 9 so I'm trying to hold him off until 1:30 when the rest of the kids rest too.

She's been erratic but I would say about 4 hours at most? Usually she'll nap from 9-11 and then 3-4.
I put her down for a nap the same way I put her down for bed...laying next to her until she falls asleep. LOL So yeah, not the easiest way. Sometimes she goes down as soon as I lay her down, but other times, especially at night, she could take between 15 min up to an hour before she falls asleep. I would love to just place her in a crib and walk out, but she's my only kid and I'm at home most of the week, so its really not a huge deal.
Usually the second nap happens when we are out though...she falls asleep easily in the car, and she will also sleep in the stroller or baby carrier at times.

Anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on how well he slept the time before.

I'm pretty sure Juliana would like to sleep later in the morning but she wakes up with our alarm at 7 am and takes a short nap about 9:30, another one around 12:30, and another one about 4:00. She goes to sleep for the night about 8:30-9:00 pm. Occasionally she skips one of the two earlier naps or combines them into a longer one around 11 am like she did yesterday.
Tyla, I know you're co-sleeping too. Does Ty wake up with your alarm? We're actually considering having DH sleep in the adjacent room with the alarm and have him wake me up to see if that solves the problem. I'm NOT a fan of this plan but I think we're making Juliana cranky.

Maggie goes down around 9 til 11 in the morning and then again from around 2 til about 4 in the afternoon. There are days when she skips the morning nap too. But that makes her pretty much zombie baby by 2. I've even seen her skip her naps all day long and then she crashes after dinner. I try not to let that happen often.
Kim, when Maggie goes down for a nap, I try to do basically the same thing I do at bedtime. She gets a bottle in my lap while watching a cartoon on my bed. Once she's out cold on my lap, I'll transfer her to her crib. She often wakes up on the trek from lap to her crib, but if she's tired enough, she'll go down fairly easily. Whining then only lasts about 5 minutes or so. If she's super tired, it's smooth as peanut butter! I like those days.

Ty nurses to sleep in my arms, or in bed, then I lay him down.

Kaileigh is up about 8:20am, down at 10am-12noon, Down at 3pm-4pm, and up until 9pm. Repeat. She goes to sleep by herself in her crib in her room for naps and bedtime.

Rachel will go about 3 hours between naps. She's at about 3 right now. She's up at 6:45, takes the first nap around 9:00-10:30ish, down at 1:00 until 2ish, and then a shorter one around 5-5:30, then out for the count at 7:00.
I'm not sure what they do at daycare, but at home I nurse her and when she's done, I lay her in the crib with her paci and blanket and then leave the room. She might fuss for a few minutes, but will usually soothe herself to sleep. I do that for naps and bedtime and it works really well for us.

Strangely enough, dh is the only person I have ever met who does not use an alarm We dont even own one. But Ty wakes at 5:30-6am everyday and I am not sure if that is just because thats when he naturally would wake or if its because that is when dh comes back in our bedroom to take a shower?
I feel for you on if his alarm is waking her. I would not be a fan of it either, such as when my dh suggests sleeping on the couch downstairs when Ty is having a rough night and keeping him up with his fussing from teeth, I always tell him not to go sleep elsewhere. But maybe you could try and just see if that is what is waking her? I know, I would not like dh sleeping away from me either. It seems in our case as soon as dh thinks about having to sleep on the couch, then Ty stops his night fussing
Let me know if you try it and if that is what is waking her?

Yeah, I was thinking of just trying it for a night and then see what happens. I told my DH that even if we determine that to be the cause of her waking, that does NOT mean that's going to be our permanent solution. :-) I think we'll probably try it Monday night since we don't use an alarm on the weekends.

Just wanted to add the alarm used to wake up Arie before the time change...but now she wakes us up before the alarm. Not sure which one I prefer!

2-3 hours between naps. Usually it's 2 hours in between waking up and taking her first nap, and 3 hours until the next nap....but if we're out and about she's stayed up for 3-4 hours without a nap. It just depends, she's really easy.

Jr was taking just a couple of pretty long naps a day....one in the morning about 9:30, and on in the afternoon around 3 or 4. I guess it's his teething, but suddenly he's napping all the time again. He goes right back to bed after we get Rodney to school, and then takes another nap in the morning, and a couple in the afternoon. Usually around 2 hours in between...
