HyVee is my new favorite restaurant! I can't get over how much I love it. DH has been gone on business for a while now, and Emmett and I go out to lunch dates sometimes. HyVee has an all you can eat salad/fruit bar. I get a huge salad and 3 side plates of random food. Then I feed Emmett a little bit of everything (chicken, watermelon, cantalope, crackers.....) And it's all healthy stuff for him! (I hate going to fast food because it's obviously not the greatest for me and I can't feed him any of it.)

They also have really nice high chairs in our Hyvee that are always sanitized and covered with plastic wrap. They also leave a packet of crackers and a wet wipe with every high chair. Plus their are lots of huge windows to people watch.

What's your favorite place to take the LO? Why?

OooOOooOo that sounds really nice. I need to look that up! We enjoy Zoe's kitchen. It's this Greek spot in Uptown with delicious chicken salad that Leah loooooves.

McKay Cottage, it's a local place that has PHENOMENAL (I can't tell you how much we love it there, lol) breakfast and lunch. (They are only open until 2pm) They are so good with kids, they always talk to Sophie as if they have known her their entire life, all the employees are like that. They bring her a little fruit plate with a scone and there's a sippy with water waiting at the table. (She can barely drink through a straw, and we bring our own sippy but I think it's still nice!)

I also like Cheesecake Factory, since they bring the little bread sliced up and bananas for babies. I'm pretty sure this is at all of them because when my friend's daughter was a baby and I would fly up to Denver to visit her, the CF there would do the same. Sadly, I only get Cheesecake Factory when I'm in TX or Portland.

I miss good cheap Mexican food. In Texas there was a place I LOVED that was so cheap. It sort of sucks being so far north because here they try to make Mexican food into this "fine dining" experience and while it's delicious, it's not what I think of when I think of good ol' TexMex. I don't even know what you would call it up here, LOL

We have 2 Zoe's Kitchens but I haven't been yet. I'll have to make a point of going some time.

I don't really have any places in particular that I like to take him, just wherever we happen to be going but we don't tend to dine in that much. There's a place called Wild Eggs that I love for Breakfast and Lunch - their Everything Muffins are awesome! Vincent seems to like Chuy's too, I guess because there's so much to look at. I haven't found a great cheap Mexican place (not a chain) here yet either. We've been to McAlister's several times too and Chick-Fil-A because my Mommy's group likes to meet up there sometimes.

Ooh! We haven't been to Cheesecake factory with baby yet. Curious to see if they do the bananas at ours too.

We do sushi once a week, and we've got a Lonestar Texas Grill that we enjoy taking her too. She loves rice, noodles, egg and I can give her some of the tempura potatoe and brocolli at the sushi place, and I give her rice and beans and queso at the lonestar. There's also a chicken place we enjoy taking her too. She's been pretty great at just about any restaurant we've been to since she's been born.
And now that she's eating the same food we are, it's making it tons easier to go out to different places.
