Lets see how interesting this can get. Lets share some interesting facts about us that we don't know about each other yet

I'll start.

I have a fear of bridges and driving over (obviously) and next to water. I live in Michigan and it took me 23 years before I finally could get the courage to drive across (well sit passenger) the Mackinac Bridge.

When my mother was pregnant with me, she had to be in hospital for the last 12 weeks, as she had gotten german measles and was told to terminate me and that I would be deaf, dumb and blind ( very old school terminology ) ... She put me on a waiting list for a deaf school etc... She stood by her guns, with lots of pressure to terminate me and here I am today..

Btw, I have no problems whatsoever..

When I was 6 months old I had, what dr's thought, really bad food poisoning and got so dehydrated that everyone thought I wasn't going to make it. Now that we think back it was probably the Rotavirus but my mom thought it was bad formula. Anyway, after I did come out of the woods my mom was way too overprotective of me. I was hospitalized for weeks and when I came home the first thing I ate was a piece of grass...hahaha...gave my mom a heart attack.

Wow, me too! I get so uneasy when driving along water.

I'm afraid of the dark...but i'm getting better about it. When i was 7 i broke my ring finger on my left hand in three places because i wanted to help my mom do laundry to i attempted to wring some clothes through the wringer washer, ended up putting my hand in it, luckily it was only my ring finger that was damaged.

I love to garden. I didn't get a chance last year being pg in 100 degree weather didn't allow me to. I would swell too much. But I love to plant flowers and watch them grow. Flowers make me happy!

I had bells palsey when I was little, I'll be in limbo my whole life wondering if it will come back. It stayed for a few months.

I'm an only child and REALLY hate it! My only sibling-in-law, my BIL died in 2006 when he was 18 and now my children will never have any aunts, uncles, or 1st cousins. Our DS was named after my BIL.

I miss my parents who still live in California! I talk to my mom on the phone multiple times everyday! I love being an only child. I would love to have 4 or 5 kids, but my fertility issues probably won't let that happen.

Haha, it's true. I'm 25 years old and have never physically seen the ocean. I've never been to any state that is coastal. The farthest I have traveled (mind you I live in Michigan and am surrounded by water) is Toronto, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. That's it. Quite sad if you ask me.

I'm terrified of hights. I won't go up to the top of the CN Tower because they've made a glass floor on the observation deck. I'm also really uneasy getting into an elevator, which made living in an apartment when I was young really difficult. Once I get used to the elevator I'm okay, but if I feel like anything out of the ordinary is going on I will break out in a cold sweat. Seriously, I'd rather take the stairs if I can, especially if it is a place that I've never been to before.

It took a year and a half of trying on our own, doctor's appointments, testing, blood-work (the never-ending bloodwork!), medicines, shots, and more "donations" by my husband of his little guys than he likes to think about to conceive our son. It only took ONE IUI after all that testing, which is a fabulous miracle

I have a tiny family living in Canada. It's just me and my 2 sisters, my parents and my dad's brother & wife (who have no kids). Everyone else is in Europe and I haven't seen them in years. My DH also only has his twin brother and his dad (his mom passed away last year). So our Holiday and Family get togethers are pretty small and easy to manage. That is one reason why I wanted to have a big family.
