1st birthday invitations

Is anyone making or ordering personalized 1st birthday invitations for their LO's 1st birthday? If so, where are you ordering from? EVERYWHERE I've looked online makes you buy 25+ and I simply can't afford $50 for invitations.

Anyone know of photo personalized invitations online where you only have to buy 10 and they aren't more expensive than $2.00 a card?

Also, anyone have software where THEY could make the cards for me and I could pay you? I'm just not that skilled lol. Thanks girls~

I actually got mine on vistaprint. I ordered 20, and with shipping it cost me about $40 Canadian. They turned out fantastic. I love them!

Well I ended up going with Shutterfly. I found a really cute 1st birthday print and it cost me $25 with s&h. Anyone else doing personalized 1st birthday invites?

I am, but I haven't set on one yet. I'm either going to get the lady who is doing her decorations to do them or I am going to use Mothers Day Cards, Baby Shower Invitations, & Business Cards by Tiny Prints.

I also ordered mine from Shutterfly. I had enough Pampered points to get 15 of them for free. All I had to pay was S&H.... $6.39!! It is a 5x7 with 4 pictures of Caleb!

Great idea Heather. Pampers points! I have almost 3000 and not sure what to use them for.

Huggies points suck. They don't go far, and I find the rewards lame.

If we have a party (I want to but her birthday is the day before our move...so I might have it in our backyard in a week or two after we move in), I'm just going to use evite.com. LOL I don't have any extra money to spend!

oh my gosh! are you guys already ordering first birthday cards!? am i super behind or what. with my daughter i made my own. i got a cute card paper and used printable vellum and printed on that. then attached the vellum to the card with ribbon. but the paper was tinkerbell. so it was really cute.
I know some people who just order from walmart the picture on a cute photo card. and they are super cheap!
I think this year we are doing jungle theme for Noahs first Bday. my cousin is going to do a petting zoo for us and it is all going to be animal themed. and then a jump house.

I've got a $20 credit on Shutterfly that I need to use before June 22, so I was just thinking about using that for invitations but I think I might just go the store-bought route instead. I'm definitely thinking of keeping this party thing simple and I don't even think I'll have that many people to invite.

This is our invite...like I said, it's from Shutterfly... I didn't add a theme to the card because I'm not 100% set on a theme yet. I'm thinking lions, monkeys, and giraffes...but not 100% sure.

I really want to make Avery's. I have an idea in mind, but I need to do a sample or 2 to see what I like. I really need to get on that because with a full-time job & 2 kiddos, I need to be able to make a few at a time & still get them sent out next month. Wow! It's May already. How did that happen?

I heart Walgreens for budget purposes. You can design your own with a pic online and get them printed for uber cheap. Often they have 50% off promos on their website too. I did our Christmas cards this way. We sent out a million for about 25 bucks.

Thanks for the suggesting Vistaprint! I ordered calendars through them at Christmas and it turned out great. I just ordered mine through them as well. I got 10 free and only had to pay shipping and handling. I didn't get anything too fancy. It's has monkeys and two pictures of Wyatt - newborn and last weekend. I think they'll be cute.

Ethan's birthday is June 26th so he was actually born a week and a half early lol that's the only reason we are ordering already, his bday party is Sat June 25th.
