Sometimes Juliana is good for 10 minutes, max. Most of the time she's only good for about 30 seconds. She gets upset if I try to walk away and do something. It's SO frustrating. Is she the only one? How do SAHM's get anything done? I either have to make dinner during her nap time or while the nanny is still here.

He is pretty good about playing alone for about 5 minutes... sometimes longer if one of the big kids is in there with him. And it depends on the time of day sometimes. I can get a shower in in the morning after he wakes up if he's not seen me that morning. Same thing after his nap... he'll play happy in his crib for about 20 minutes sometimes if he doesn't see anyone.

Eva can go a good 30 min+ sometimes. Now I feel bad I know she can go for that long but when I've been rushing around cleaning and she's still happy, I just keep going occasionally.

Max is good for about 30 minutes as long as he's full, not sleepy, freshly changed and has a few toys. That usually happens once a week If he's really fussy and I need to get dinner made or a chore done I put him on my back in the carrier. He's too grabby to be on the front now. Otherwise, if I'm just switching laundry or something less than 10 minutes I just keep talking to him and saying "Mommy will be back soon" and he might fuss for a little bit but usually he'll find something to do. I think it does help that he has a house full of siblings so even if they aren't playing with him, he can watch them and he doesn't feel alone if they are in the room.

She can entertain herself as long as she's not tired, not to mention she's always chasing after her puppies so that's the most interesting thing to her.

She'll even wake up in her crib and play, if I didn't have a video monitor I would have never known this because she barely makes any noise---she's waving her blanket around, chewing on her seahorse and twilight turtle haha

Jr does pretty good playing in his bed before he sees anyone. I'd say about 20 to 30 minutes. During the day is different....I play with him in the floor with his toys, and stuff, but then we have a play yard for while I'm cleaning and stuff, so he doesn't get into something. He will play for about 5 or 10 minutes, and then whine when he sees me. Then go back to playing. I try not to leave him in there very long because we only have one and it's pretty small. I need to get another one to connect to the one we have so it'll be big enough for him to move around in.

30-60 minutes depending on his mood. He has a toy "box" that he likes to tip over and pull everything out, chase the cats, look out the sliding glass door, look out our front storm door, etc. I do get down and play with him often but honestly I don't think he cares most of the time.

As long as she doesn't need anything (fed, diaper is clean, not sleepy), she can go for quite awhile. I never really timed it but I would guess 30 minutes? Like she will play in the living room and I'll be doing things in the kitchen and everyone once in awhile she wil look up and talk to me (she is a serious chatterbox) and then go back to talking to herself an playing with her toys. She'll even flip pages and "read" to herself (and now point to pictures) with her books. I know I've said this countless times before but she can even say book (well, "cook")...those keep her entertained for quite awhile.

But like some moms have said, she WILL start fussing at some point and look up at me and whine. I used to always go to her when she did that but now I only do it if she starts crying because usually she will whine for a bit and then go on playing.

Leah can go for like 30 seconds, lol. She wants to be under me all the time. She's been super clingy recently. Even if DH is around, she still wants me. I play with her on the floor all day long, but I can never walk away from her without her wanting to follow me around the house. I hope it gets better. Sometimes I wish she had an older sibling who could entertain her. Mama gets tired sometimes...

Emmett does pretty good. I always set him up with some activity when I get things done. For instance, in the kitchen he has his "cabinet" full of plastic cups, tupperware and sippy cups.

Its the opposite here. I mean, she's on top of me if I'm close to her but if daddy is around, she ONLY wants him. She'll cling to him and start to cry if I take her from him. LOL I don't really mind, but a part of me wonders what's so much better about him than me?

I hate to admit it, but Hunter is in LOVE with TV. It's typically on all day. He's pretty content just rolling around with toys. Yup I said it, rolling around. He's only fussy if he needs something, or really wants to sit up. I leave him to get really frustrated sometimes to see if the anger will help him to be motivated to sit up, or get onto his bum....or even crawl. LOL.

Noah's pretty good at entertaining himself for 30+ minutes, also his siblings keep him pretty well entertained too. He also has a basket of toys he likes to pull over and play with all the toys.
