it was pretty crappy until sunday night. We had our roof done so DH and 2 of his buddies spent all weekend making a ton of noise eating a bunch of food and making a huge mess, so i go to clean up after them and take care of one super cranky baby who wouldnt nap.

MIL and FIL came over sunday afternoon so then i got to entertain people on top of everything else (i love my ILs but they picked a bad weekend) good news is they played with a cranky ross so i actually got a few things done.

Around 4 on sunday they were done all the loud stuff and Ross finally napped and he slept until 530. Then all the messy boys went home and since ross took a very late nap we were able to go out for a late diner, and that was really nice

My weekend was awesome and busy! We had our carpets professionally cleaned on Thursday and couldn't put back any of our furniture until they dried. So they didn't dry until Saturday. I spent the morning cleaning and putting furniture back. Baby proofing, just need my gate to arrive from amazon and my living room will be a safe baby zone! My sister wanted to babysit for me for mothers day so she came over on Saturday night, dh and I went out to eat and the casino. We spent most of yesterday at my moms. I made breakfast and my dad made an awesome steak dinner, then had dessert at my mil house. My dd made me an awesome necklace for mothers day. I was perfect. .

It was pretty good! Friday night my SIL came over because her and my DF had a plan to go hiking on Saturday but DF woke up super sick with a cold on Saturday so they couldn't go, which is a bummer for them but at least Jackson got to spend some time with his auntie.

Saturday was spent cleaning, doing laundry, and going grocery shopping all by myself with a non-napping baby, which sucked but I wanted to get it over with so I could relax on Mother's Day. Of course, DF stayed in bed all day cause he is a man and therefore a big baby when anything so much as a sniffle happens. (I know he felt bad but I must say that had that SAME cold earlier in the week and still am getting over it- and of course, I powered through it, cause I'm mama and I have to. You ladies kwim) Saturday night my mom and stepdad stopped in on their way to Maine and took Jackson and I out to dinner, which was very nice.

Sunday was pretty sweet. We went out to brunch and it was nice out so we took a long walk afterward. DF made dinner AND cleaned up and didn't touch schoolwork the entire day so he could help take care of Jackson and let me relax a little bit. (Usually all weekend long he constantly does homework cause he has so much of it). He also gave me a backrub.
