So how was your Mother's day? I know it was the first for some!


My hubby got me the Kinect for xbox 360 with the Michael Jackson experience!!! I was super duper excited! He already had an Xbox so he just got the kinect and game. I spent 3 hours dancing to the Thriller, Beat it and Bad!! Man I love that game Hopefully i can get the Zumba game in a few weeks!

Crappy! My dh decided to take Kaitlyn to go get me something and he stuck $70 in his pocket. Ended up loosing $70!!!!! So when he came home and told me that he was going to need to use debit card, I flipped out and told him to just forget it. $70 is a lot of money to loose!!! Im telling him ALL.THE.TIME not to put cash in his pocket, but now he's learned, and I ended up with nothing, other then my sweet princess coloring me an easter picture, and dandelions out of the neighbors yard... LOL

It was good, Zach bought me a new LED monitor for photo editing. I now have 2 set up at the same time The kids drew me a card which I love more than anything. We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel, went to Nashville.gov - Parks and Recreation - Centennial Park and then had 5 guys for dinner, which is my favorite fast food/burger joint. too bad I always feel like I should go run a 5k afterwards ended with a couple margaritas after the kids went to bed!

Mine was ok...I didn't get anything, which is understandable since we are pinched buying a house...but hubby was complaining all day how he didn't feel good. ugh. I almost feel like he was trying to get out of the foot and back massages I asked for, which he did get out of . He promised he would give them to me when he felt better.

On the other hand, hubby was doing house-buying paperwork all day which sucks for him, but that let me go hang out with my friend all day, and we had a blast. She bought me lunch for mother's day, so that was very nice. I also had a nice long convo with my mom on the phone and she is visiting tomorrow for a week and I'm SOOO excited about that!

Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Dane got me a mani/pedi gift certificate (I need it), and Emily got me a gift certificate for ShoeStation. We went to my moms for dinner (ribs). Thank goodness his mom lives across the country. I dont think i could do any more meals.

Well...I had to work yesterday, but when I woke up at 5AM, and went to the kitchen there was a card from Leah with her hand prints on it. Inside the card was a gift certificate to a Day Spa for a 60min Swedish massage, Brazilian and brow wax. I'm so excited to go to the spaaaa When I got home from work, we went to Chili's for dinner, and DH had cleaned the whole house. Couldn't have asked for more.

DH woke me up with a Mimosa, flowers, and card from him. Then when Sophie woke up, he had her holding a card "from her" (It was so cute I was like "WAIIT, I have to take a picture!") Sophie got me 3 new Chamilia charms and a new bracelet (I was always griping that my other one is so hard to snap)

Sean got me a mothers necklace from Nashelle (It's a local jewelry designer) & a gift certificate to a local spa.

He had surprise brunch reservations at Pronghorn Resort (I had no idea) It was so pretty there!

Then after we put Sophie to bed, we shared a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, which last year Sean decided would be our official "Mothers Day tradition" We put the corks in a small shadowbox frame...I guess one day it will look cool, haha

It was alright, my husband had to work so we were up at 5am (which is Aaron's normal wake up time anyway). I got a foot spa, some soaks, scrubbies, and other stuff to go with it. He made scallops and risotto for dinner, which were yummy and that was pretty much my day. Aaron is getting his 4th tooth and he's been pretty cranky so we didn't go anywhere.

Perfect! DH took Emmett in the morning and let me sleep in until 10am! We went to lunch with friends. Then, DH took Emmett (and my friend's DH took his 2 boys) and they hung out all afternoon while my friend and I went shopping for much needed clothes.

I posted a pic on Facebook of the men walking the baby's in their BOB strollers!!!! So cute! (I guess they got yelled at by a lot of women when they were walking! One lady yelled "Where can I get me one of those?" meaning the DHs.)

Mine was good. I got a new grill along with accessories, yes I do most of the grilling because dh usually works so late so it is for me. I also got flowers to plant, bubble bath, chapstick, a stuffed bunny that sings Jesus Loves me, and vases the kids made at Lowes. We also went to Friendly's for lunch and I won a Visa gift card so now I can go buy myself some clothes.

it was good and busy! DH comes home at 530am from work so while he slept I got up with the girls. DH made reservations for the melting pot for lunch. we went there and food was good. Desi was cranky b/c she didnt really take a long morning nap. so after lunch we came back home and we all slept for 2 hrs! it was great! we got up and got ready for the beach. the girls love the beach. the water was perfect! then we went back home got ready to head to my IL's house. mind you its 9pm! ate dinner there and chit chatted. got home at 11 had some QT with DH and went to bed. the girls got me lindt chocolates and DH got me perfume

Horrible. I worked all day and night with no break. By the end I was crying and exsaughsted. I started my period. My tooth hurts. And DH and I got into a fight when I got home from work. I got a great gift though, a very pretty necklace.
