So I'm sitting at my desk trying to get some work done while Claire plays in her Pack-N-Play. She is playing with one of my calculators...it is a larger one that I got free from somewhere, and she LOVES to play with it.
I'm talking on the phone, and she is looking at me very mischievously. I'm scheduling an appointment and giving my information to the lady on the phone, and Claire just keeps giving me these weird looks like she is up to something, but she's just sitting there. Finally I go over to her and I just about had a heart attack...she had pried the number 3 key off of the calculator and was chewing on it

I don't know how she got it off, because I tried to pry the others off and couldn't do it with my bare hands. The key is about 1/2 an inch square, so she definitely could have choked on it.
I guess I'm posting this story so maybe someone will think twice about giving their kids something to play with that isn't designed to be a toy...it really didn't cross my mind that she would be able to loosen the keys. Thank goodness this first-time-Mommy-mistake didn't cause any harm
It might take a few hours before my heart stops racing...
