So I've felt like Hunter has been on the brink of so many milestones lately and he just won't do them. Yesterday night I put puffs just out of reach and he freaked out for a long time, and then when I was close enough to him, he reached out and pulled himself up on me (with my assistance) and tried to step out towards the puffs! He has 0 interest in crawling at all.
Today I thought I would see if he could pull himself up without assistance. I figured the best and softest place would be the crib. He could fall back and land on the mattress. So after sitting across the room and watching him freak out with frustration. He finally figured out he could hold the top of the crib bar and pull up to his knees, and from there onto his feet!! He got to the top, laughed, and began chewing the top. He doesn't stay up long, but it's something. Oh, and he didn't start out lying down though. I sat him upright. He still isn't getting into a sitting position on his own.
