Isaac can sign "milk". He's been doing it for about a week now but I wasn't sure if he knew what it meant or if he was just playing. I am pretty sure now that he knows what it means. I'm so excited. I absolutely loved signing with Eva and am so excited for it to be starting with Isaac.

That is awesome! It's funny you mention this because just this afternoon i realized that i could have been teaching kinley signs for a while now, but had totally forgotten. So, I started today... I guess better late than never

How are you teaching it? I am fluent in ASL, but I'm not sure how to go about teaching baby sign to Lyla.

Actually, right now is a great time to start.

I just do the sign several times while doing whatever the sign is. For example, right before I nurse him, I sign and say milk. Then, while I am nursing, I sign and say milk again.
Or, when he is eating, I sign and say eat before giving him a bite. Etc.
