I've never had to finger sweep a baby so many times in my life! Macie puts absolutely everything in her mouth and it's giving me a heart attack... She's recently become very efficient at feeding herself small bits at meal time so now anything she see goes in.

Given the fact that she's scooting all over the place at crazy baby speeds and I have 5 older kids that leave stuff everywhere - not suprising. I just busted out the play pen where she'll be spending more time for her own safety.

Anyone else have this problem?

*raises hand* Heidi is a Hoover! Today she started eating a post-it-note! The 'hook and scoop' is administered on her many times a day. I sweep several times a day and really pay attention to her but she is so fast! Ironically, the only time she's gagged is on food items and not the random things I find in her mouth. Here's some TMI for you... I've found stickers in her poo many times.. Completely undigested

yes yes and yes! Miranda sticks everything in her mouth and she especially loves paper. I also have 3 older kids and have to keep checking all the time to make suer they didn't leave anything small lying around. The other day my DS and DD took the Bayblades apart into a million pieces. Grrr!!!! And then there is lego and little pet shop figures. Oh and Miranda loves to take off the vent covers. Too curious for her own good. But if I lock her in the gated area or in a playpen she screams!

Yep...Claire wants to eat everything including the cat's tail. She loves paper, too, and is really quick at shredding anything she can find. I was only giving her the paci when she slept, but I have been letting her keep it during the day because then she puts fewer things in her mouth

me too... wyatt loves anything unedible and knows he isnt suppose to have it ... and my husband says ... honey he has something in his mouth,... and i'm like stick you finger in there and get it out... He LOVES paper... sticks... and leaves

Yup Rosie puts every single thing she can in her mouth. I am always sweeping/vacuuming but stuff still gets missed. Its never ending.

Kinley also loves to eat paper and gets it stuck in the roof of her mouth!
