All about invitations.

When will you send yours out?

If you're having pics on the invite, how will you coordinate that. Like, when will you have the pics taken in order for them to be ready for the invitations.

How many invitations will you be ordering/making?

I *was* going to put pics on ours but thought it wouldnt work since she will change so much between now and 2 months so Im not doing a picture on them.

I usually mail then 4 weeks before the date of the party.

I am ordering 25.

I did photo invites. I had them taken the first week of April, and had the invites ordered within a day or two because my photographer was super speedy and quick. This is totally not normal for most photographers, unless you go to a department store I think. For the invites, they arrived within 2 weeks, but again, that all depends on what you order and from where obviously.

Her party is June 11th, and I had them out by May 1st with a request to rsvp by the 21st. 4-6 weeks is reasonable if you're inviting more than just immediate family. 4 weeks is ample.

We'll probably send ours a bit early, beginning of June just because we will be sending our engagement party invites then and we might aswell stick Eva's birthday invites in with them because we would have to be posting them a week or two later.

OMG you guys are stressing me out.. I'm not ready to start thinking about there 1st birthdays yet!! One more month of school and then I can maybe think about it hehe!

I'm going to be making Aidyen's next week. I'm going to use his most recent picture for it and I am making 18 because we are inviting 17 families, and then 1 invitation for us to keep for his keepsakes. We have like over 38 people we are inviting!!

I only ordered ten because we are only going to have close family come. We are sending them out Monday. His bday party is June 25th, actual bday is June 26th ;0)

I have actually never done invites for any of my kids. Mostly because we have mainly close family and friends and I just personally tell them what time to be at our house.

I've never done invited either... except for an email to folks who I know read better than they listen... LOL. We don't do big parties though. Just small family parties. I don't even know WHEN we can do it yet! His birthday is June 18, which is a Saturday this year. BUT, I'm in nursing school with clinicals on Saturday. So I thought about Friday evening, but he is so fussy in the evenings I'm not sure that is good. So I thought about Sunday afternoon, but it is Father's Day. So, um, I've not really decided.
