All Juliana wants to do all day is walk around, while holding onto my hands. She likes to find things on the floor and bed down to pick them up. She also loves to kick balls on the floor and she's amazingly good at it. She rarely ever misses, even if the ball is moving. She's very proud of herself when she does this and she'll just squeal and laugh and screech and want to do it all day.

The problem is that I'm turning into a hunch back and my back is crazy sore. I tried walking wings but she wants nothing to do with them.

Worse than just her wanting to walk all day long, she wants to walk exactly where she wants to walk and pick up whatever has her attention, or she'll scream. For example, she's become fascinated with a dog toy, which I hate for her to touch because it's filthy (I did wash it thoroughly since then). I'm getting really frustrated between the back pain and inability to steer her anywhere. I'm 5'11", I can't stay bent over to her level all day!

Is anyone else dealing with this?

I am dealing with it too, but...I am 5'1". I can hold her hands without bending. Except her arms are straight up in the air and she will get tired and pull my hands down after a certain point. But I'm tired of walking her around 24-7. Can't wait until she figures it out herself!!!

We do it a lot too but Im also very short 5'1"ish. Kaileigh can walk with just one hand though so that makes it so much easier.

We're doing it too, but it's not to the point where he screams if we stop or don't let him, he just whines or cries a bit. But it does seem like that's all he wants to do. I'm about 5'6" so it's not too bad for me but I did buy some walking wings for $5 the other day anyway and he doesn't seem to mind them - he just goes a lot slower because he's still really wobbly without holding his hands.

Ouch. Luca doesn't do this, he's not very good at walking and isn't interested. Maybe Julianna needs a push walker.

Ya - I'm not looking forward to this stage at all. Between my height (5'9") and my bad back (looks like it's arthritis), this is going to be uber painful!

She has two but they both seem to be too light and just fly out from under her. Maybe they'll help when she's almost there and just needs a little extra help with balance.

Yup~ this is Ethan through and through. Crawling in under over and through things. Getting into everything, wanting to pull up on me constantly to stand and walk...and he just wants to walk soooooooo badly that he is WILD all day long until he collapses at night! He's even napping less during the day because he's so excited to be mobile!

Vincent's not close to being able to use his push walker either. It would be nice if he could crawl but since he's apparently decided to skip that stage, walking with us holding on is the only way he can get around and he always wants to be doing it. I so wish he would figure out how to crawl!

Not a problem here...Apparently Caleb has decided that he's not going to walk until he's two..then he'll be so tall I won't have to bend over.
