Is anyone else terrified of clipping their LO's nails? I nicked Ellie's thumb when she was really little and I think I cried more than she did. Ever since then, I've been scared of doing it again and I put off clipping her nails longer than I should probably. Especially now that she's so wiggly, I usually end up getting through just one hand before I give up so her nails are always uneven.

I have knicked her skin, my mom has done it DH won't touch em. I feel so bad. So I am bad at doing it on a regular basis. I tend to wait till she is asleep. And I use the scissor thing now since I feel better with it. Her nails grow fast too.

It's always a huge fight. Jackson wiggles and then if we hold him down he cries and screams so it's pretty much impossible. I hate it. His nails are always sharp and too long cause we only get through like 1-2 nails per DAY.

Yeah, Ellie's are always like that too. I am bad and let them go until she scratches herself or one of us sometimes just because I don't want to clip them.

I'm not terrified but I don't enjoy it. She squirms all over and if I do it while she's nursing I can only do the one hand (which happened last night). So, right now she still has only one hand's nails clipped. Her nails grow so fast and she scratches everyone on the face like a cat.
