A growth spurt? Teeth? Wyatt has been sleeping for more than 3 hours! And he slept from 8pm to 7am this morning, with a minor 5 second back pat at 4am. This is a child that barely napped for 40 minutes at a time and if I breathed too loud he woke up. DH was even up in the attic puttering around and he still didn't wake up.
Last week I took some drastic measures and rearranged his room. I moved his crib and took out his bumpers (probably should have done that a while ago) because he was always standing up as soon as I laid him down. Now it's easier for him to look out while still laying down. I think it might be helping. We also don't bring him into our bed during the night anymore. He always went down pretty easy, but would wake frequently until we brought him in with us. So last week I camped out on his floor for 3 nights trying to get him to stay in his crib all night. He still wakes once or twice, but all we need to do is find his paci and "tuck" him in a little.
Wonder when he's going to wake up? What I have done with all this time? Absolutely nothing!
