Naughty Time...

A few months ago we have a few threads going round about intimacy, or the lack there of many of our mommies have had. I was just wondering if things have started to heat up a bit more.

If things have are you using birth control or just natural prevention?

Once i healed from the episotomy (which seemed like it would never heal...took a good 15 weeks) things pretty much went back to pregnancy levels, (which was like the beginning of relationship levels)....however for the last month or so things have cooled down.

We're at once or twice every 10 days or so. I miss the pregnancy/beginning lust!

We're just using the pull out method which is what we used before we decided to try for a baby and had Sam. I miss the carelessness and passion of trying/pregnant sex.

Sadly I have to report that things have not heated up in the slightest since my cabana post. We hardly ever dtd.

It really does make me so sad because we also spend very little time communicating and I never thought this would happen to us. We don't fight or anything, we just don't have time anymore. DF is always doing hours of homework after Jackson goes to bed, thankfully tomorrow is his last final. I am also dog-tired all the time. It has been over 10 months since I have gotten to sleep through the night, Jackson still wakes frequently to nurse and we co-sleep.

Other than the time/exhaustion issues though, I have to admit that my hormone levels are just so messed up. I don't even get "in the mood" anymore. I am guessing it is still due to nursing but I am getting pretty sick of it. I want to want to do it again, but I just couldn't care less. I am embarrassed to admit I don't even remember the last time we did it

So to answer the other question...no birth control here! No need. I don't know what to do anymore.

Its pretty non existent around here. Between his hours with work and just being exhausted. By 830/900 we are both beat and crash right away. However we have made up the loss with cuddling more so it pays off..lol However I know we both miss it

I am so emotionally/mentally drained from the boys that I cannot find my desire for sex with my DH. It really bothers me that I feel like I have to do it.

Things have definitely heated up here. It probably helps that I no longer want to pass out as soon as the kids are in bed.

things have improved since march. we aren't using any birth control yet because we still aren't doing it THAT often and I still haven't gotten AF back yet.

we probably DTD 3 times a week, so no real complaints, though DH would happily do it daily or more (and before having ross we did) but im to darn tired some nights

Since DH was gone for 7 months, I got a break.

Unfortunately, we've only DTD twice since he's been back. It sucks, it's not fair to him, but I couldn't care less about sex. I have absolutely no desire. Maybe it's because I'm still nursing, I don't know. But I would do it just for him...he doesn't even try. It's pretty sad. So, yeah, no birth control needed here.

I think because I'm still nursing, I'm just not in the mood ever.

I've told him that even if I'm not in the mood, if he initiates, I won't say no, but we've only dtd a few times since Ellie was born because he doesn't want to bother me even though I know he misses it. Once school is out at the end of the month, I'm going to start transitioning Ellie out of our bed so that at least we can snuggle at night without her even if we aren't doing anything naughty.

it's cold here too lol, he wakes up for work at 3am doesn't get home until 7/8pm then it's dinner, kids go to bed, he showers and we go to bed...everyone asked before I m/c that we must be like rabbits lol, the sad part is no, it's maybe once a month and we just hit it right then haha
