How often is your LO napping? and for how long?

Ross was doing great at napping, we got him on a schedule at about 5 months and he would nap at 9 and again at 1, he would nap for 3-4 hours total every day. The last week or so his naps have gone down hill, and I dont know why, hes been up in his crib talking and playing for nearly an hour now! and yesterday he only napped for about 30 mins in the afternoon. It seems no matter what i do lately one of his naps sucks!

When do babies usually drop to 1 nap? hes almost 10 months old but that just seem so young to be down to one nap

I really am not sure when they usually drop down to one nap. Jackson is pretty inconsistent still. He usually naps about 2-3 hrs after he wakes up for the day but that varies from anywhere between 9 and 11AM. He also usually has an afternoon nap too, anywhere from 1-3PM. Both naps are anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hrs, so it really varies wildly. I can usually tell though if he is exhausted enough for a long one. Most times it averages about 45 mins each. So I never really know what he feels like doing. So far it hasn't been an issue since I am a SAHM but once I go back to work I would like him to be on a schedule, I am hoping he will make one for himself.

The only thing he is pretty consistent about is bedtime, he almost always (unless he is teething or something) goes down around 7. If he stays up past 7:30, he is a mess.

Same as Aimee. We're still really not on any kind of set schedule yet. That being said, Isaac typically takes 2 naps a day, the time just really varies.
