Daycare/Preschool

Will/do you send your child(ren) to preschool or daycare?

I've had to have Ellie in daycare since January since my SIL's schedule changed and she couldn't watch her anymore. I was actually thinking about leaving her in a couple days a week over the summer even though I'd be off because I really like the socialization she gets there, but I can't afford it since money gets tight over the summer and we're trying to pay off some debt. I'm lucky since my MIL is a teacher too so if I need to get anything done without Ellie this summer, I will be able to have her babysit.

No daycare, I'm lucky enough to be a SAHM. As for preschool, probably one year of preschool (a lot of people here do 2 years, even if they are SAHM's and that just doesn't make a lot of sense to me). If it were totally up to me, I would probably skip preschool altogether. I do think it will be good socially though.

Im a SAHM so no daycare here, i doubt i will do preschool either, here kids start in junior kindergarden (pre K) the year they turn 4, so Ross will start in 2014 and thats soon enough for me!

No daycare since I am a sahm right now nor preschool. We tried with the oldest, he didn't do so well and the cost was just too much.

We use daycare. I like it for socialization too but hate the fact that I can not be home with my babies. I think that is going to change soon though!

That's awesome that you may be able to stay home! DH is working hard to get promoted in his job and is going back to school so that hopefully someday I can stay home too.
