Is there a Renaissance Festival within driving distance to where you live? Have you ever been to a Renaissance Festival? If you go, do you dress up?

I Love going to the Renaissance Festival! I go at least once a year, usually more like 3 or more times. I dress up a little but not too much...i don't have any elaborate outfits or anything, i just dress kinda peasant style. Heck, if df would agree to it i'd have our wedding there, but he is totally against the idea.

Yep! I got at least once a year. The season for it here is from around the end of January to the middle of March. After that, it gets too hot. We took Ellie for the first time this year! I like to dress up too. I have a peasant type costume that I made myself.

Honestly, making costumes is the only reason I learned to sew in high school. I'm a huge sci-fi/fantasy geek and I love making costumes from the books/movies I like.

That is so cool! I couldn't make a costume if my life depended on it. I couldn't even make my kids costumes for halloween.

I bet you they would sell well on ebay, too.
