Did you grow up taking family vacations? Is it something you plan to do with your little one?

My family went on a big trip every couple years, and DH and I have been taking vacations together since we started living together. We're planning a trip to Disney Land once Ellie is 3 and probably before I get pregnant again. A lot of our vacations have just been to local resorts here in Phoenix though because they get really cheap during the summer since it's so hot and only crazy people visit then. Haha!

we took a trip to MOA once a summer from the time i was born until i was in HS

We will probably make a trip up to my parents once every year or every other year, they live 22 hours away so its a pretty big trip for us. I would like to take my kids to disney atleast once, when they are old enough to really enjoy it

We took local vacations as a kid. We did a ton of camping and beach things. Now with our kids we either do a beach vacation or Disney. We are going to Disney this August, it will be hot but I can't wait!

We took trips to visit family, the closest members lived 9 hours away. I would like to go on trips to different areas of the US every few years or so.
