What traits or habits do you have that you hope your LO picks up or inherits? Are there any you hope you don't pass on? Are there things you don't have that you hope your LO will?

I really hope that Ellie inherits my love of reading and musical love and talent. I really hope that she will be more athletic than me though cause I'm lazy. I also hope she doesn't inherit my awful eyesight, but I kinda think she's doomed there because DH's is bad too.

I hope he is athletic like his daddy. Really I just hope he is well rounded and a caring person. I really hope he doesn't inherit my allergies and asthma. I'm afraid he might not be able to escape it though, I see early signs of allergies.

I hope they get my good memory, my love for crafting, arts, and music, and my passion for being considerate to others.

I hope they do not get my laziness, my crankiness, or my pessimism.

I hope my children will learn to stand up to people who try to use, manipulate, or bully them. I also hope they learn to use their time more wisely than I did.

I hope Lyla gets her daddy's smarts and confidence and my compassion and willingness to work hard. I hope she is musical like her daddy and I and follows our religious beliefs.

I hope she is not stubborn like us! I hope she does not inherit our quick tempers.
