Are you more environmentally conscious since you became a mother? Is there anything you do to try to help the environment?

I guess maybe I'm a little more conscious of how what I'm doing affects the environment now, but to be honest, most of the environmentally friendly things I do are just as much for monetary reasons. I cloth diaper and I really like it, but the main reason I started it was to save money. I am definitely not going to miss buying disposable diapers over the summer while Ellie is out of daycare.

Not really. Most everything we do as in light bulbs and things like that is for money reasons. I do use disposables, I do use bottle liners because its easy for me.
I recycle and thats about all I do as far as other stuff goes. But they have some crazy environment laws here..lol That its almost ridicuclous..lol

My DH is incredibly into this stuff so yes we do quite a lot in that aspect. We recycle like crazy ppl. 1/4 of my daily dishes consist of cleaning out recyclibles. We recycle everything we can. We compost. We save water and paper. We purchase as many all natural and organic things as possible. We really try to not purchase plastic or polyester clothing. We have a rain barrell. We only use the cell phone for important matters. (Cell phones are disposable electronics and also hurt bees).

DH is a "turn the lights off" drill sargent. He comes home from work and inspects the house for "lightbulb/electricity" wasting violations.

I will admit to using disposable diapers and wipes 1/3 of the time. Much to DH's dismay. When I'm really stressed or busy I'm less likely to use cloth bc it's a pain to cloth diaper a wrangling, kicking baby AND you have to change them so much more often.

i would say we are environmentaly conscious people, but I dont think having Ross has caused it, i was crunchy before.

We recycle, compost, cloth diaper, use resuable wipes, when not pregnant i have cloth pads, we have the energy saver light bulbs and try not to leave lights on and things plugged in when they are needed or in use

We are fairly environmentally conscious people but we were before we ever had kids.

Ummm, nope. Not at all. If I'm recycling/reusing/making vs. buying it's because it saves me money not the planet. I should probably feel bad about it but...

I have always been very environmentally friendly but I have become less so since having my boys.
