Does your LO use one? How long will you let them keep it?

Ellie has never really been a fan of pacifiers. I think I waited too long to introduce them because I was afraid of nipple confusion. She'll take one once ina while, but really she has mostly just chewed on them. She does suck and chew on her fingers a lot and I was a thumbsucker as a kid, so hopefully it won't be too hard to break her of that habit.

Ross doesnt use his anymore, he did but around 5-6 months old we took it away because he was using it to comfort himself at night and was waking up every 30mins or so because it had fallen out. Hes never really missed it, so im glad it was an easy habit to break

no. it took 2 months for him to learn to use one, and then he only used it for a few months. he hasn't had it in at least a month or more.

this is really great because he rarely takes a bottle (twice in his life so far) so we won't have those habits to break. rebecca had a bottle until her second birthday, and a paci at night only until nathan was born. i let her keep the paci so long because she slept longer and i was a tired pregnant lady, but once the baby came and I was up all night anyway i knew it had to go then.

our issue with nathan is going to be trying to get him to sleep in his crib (he is 9.5 months old and has yet to sleep in it!) and to sleep through the night.

Isaac has never taken one, always hated them. Eva loved them and used one (at naps and bedtime) until she was 3 years old.

Mckenzie uses hers and I have tried and now back working on keeping it away. Its hard because I am not home with her and my mom gives it to her even though I told her I am weaning her off of it. I can't wait till I am able to make money without too much time away.
