Moms who have one of each, which do you think is most "difficult"? I hear a lot that boys are harder to potty train, do you think this is true? I also hear that boys are more rambunctious, do you find this to be true?

Nathan has been "harder" than I remember Rebecca being. he's a happy guy, but he is in to everything, he still doesn't sleep through the night, and the boy just has no fear. when he was younger he wouldn't take a bottle or soother, and now his separation anxiety is crazy, if I stand up he thinks I'm going somewhere without him and flips out.

on the other hand, Rebecca slept like a champ right from the start, we could take her anywhere, she didn't really get into anything, and she was over all easier.

I do wonder though if Nathan were born first and I only had him home with me if I would still feel the same.

Speaking as a teacher, from what I've seen at school, I feel like boys are easier. I always have so much more drama from the girls, even when they're just in kindergarten.

Girls are harder emotionally
Boys are harder physically.

It's so emotionally draining with DD1 but with DS, he is always such a daredevil and he gets hurt a lot. His nickname is "Dennis the Mennis". We had to get him stitches last month.

Still though I think he's easier bc he isn't always jealous like DD1. Sometimes I feel like the lady from "Annie" when she sings the song about "Little girls". LOL

Well I think it entirely depends on the child, but speaking from experience my DS was easy to potty train, much much easier than my Isabelle right now.

This is how I see it: girls are easier when they are little and boys are easier when they are older.

Boys aren't picky about their clothes, they don't have fights with their BFF, plus you just don't worry as much about them as you do with girls. My DH already has nightmares when DD#1 starts dating.
But DS gets into more trouble at school. (I couldn't even tell you how many phone calls I've gotten) It takes more effort to get him to do his work. And I find that he's not as mature as DD was at his age.
