Do you use freecycle or something similar? Do you prefer to use it to get rid of things or to find things you need?

I'm subscribed to my local freecycle, but I've never actually gotten around to using it. I always end up donating my stuff to Goodwill or the Salvation Army, and most things that I'd actually like are already claimed by the time I see them.

I have used freecycle numerous times. Mostly for giving things away. I hardly ever receive because some of the stuff people give away is totally trash. You will find decent stuff though.

DH uses freecycle and actually uses it. We don't have time to be full-on freecyclers but we do our best. It's a neat program.

DH saves ev-ver-ry-thing! I like to throw out junk we never use.. it's semi-humorous.

This is exactly the way it is in our house. He has so many "wires" ( battery charges, cords, usb) for stuff we probably don't even own anymore and refuses to throw them away. Not to mention all of his other junk, I throw it away when he is not around...lol.

I've never even heard of freecycle...what is it?
