Do you wear your baby? What kind of carrier do you use if you do? What do you like or not like about it?

I wore Ellie a lot in her moby when she was smaller, since it was often the only way I could get stuff done around the house. I'd wear her at the store because she'd fuss otherwise. Now that she's bigger, I have a BabyHawk meitai that I wear her in when we go out a lot, but sometimes it makes my back sore. We've been putting her in the stroller more often lately.

Love baby wearing, I use my mei tai the most. Bishop loves the back carry.

julia goes in a ringsling, beco butterfly, dream carrier half buckle and when summer hits she will be in a solarveil bamberoo meitai.
i wore DS in all of those up until he was around 35lbs. Never bothered my back. It took ALOT of carriers to figure out what i liked and worked for us lol

I have a Moby but I never felt like Jackson was secure in it maybe because I couldn't tie it tight enough?

Anyway we have a Boba (soft sided carrier) now and I love it. Jackson is huge (about 30 lbs) so it's the only type that really works for us. I have an infantino mei tai and it never worked for us. I wear Jackson on walks occasionally, he likes it.

I wear Claire all the time...shopping, watering flowers in the yard, going for walks, etc. She loves it, and I can do what I need to do more easily without constantly looking to see what she's getting into

We have one of the organic Ergo carriers that I love...it is the only one I use right now. This thread has got me thinking about getting something else, though, just for variety.

Those of you that back-carry...what is an easy carrier to use when you don't have help getting the baby into the carrier? The Ergo is kind of hard to use for back carry when I don't have DH around to put her in it...are the other kinds easier for that?

I would really like to get a carrier that feels secure, but don't know which to choose. I have a zolowear sling that I have never successfully used, I never felt it was secure enough. Then I borrowed a baby bjorn and my LO's inner thighs were red and irritated for days - he has very sensitive skin. Now I am reading that these front facing carriers are not good for baby's legs & spine, I had no idea!

So I am now curious about the mei tai after reading your posts, and I just looked at the Boba website. I have never heard of all these brands and it's hard to know which is best.

When Isaac was little my homemade moby type wrap was my carrier of choice, now my carrier of choice is the ergo.

My Ergo is my go-to carrier. When Boogie was a little squish I took him everywhere in my sleepy wrap. Sometimes I still wear him in my slingified BBslen around the house. I never fell him love with my WAHM-made mei tai though. I adore the Ergo and like wearing Boogie on my back.

the beco butterfly has an internal harness in it. So basically i buckle her in a front carrier and i can unbuckle the carrier with her still in it and put her on my back.

I carry Kye whenever I go out anywhere. Thuya goes in his lightweight stroller. I use my Snugli quite a bit and its really easy on my back and shoulders. I have a babyhawk that I need to start using.

I have a Moby but it is a pain in the butt to wrap up when I am out and about. I hate how it drags on the ground. I want try one of those other wraps but they are so expensive.
