Lyla has learned to scream. She does this VERY high pitched scream for no apparent reason. It's not to express unhappiness or anything it's just like she can't figure out her volume control. We are trying to ignore it at home so she doesn't learn that it gets a reaction from us. It's a lot harder to ignore in public. I feel like "that mom" who can't keep her child from yelling!
Any suggestions? Is this just a phase?

It's kind of cute. At this age anyway. My 3 year old has a really high pitched scream when she's mad. She can actually make my ears ring. When you figure out how to nip that in the bud, please tell me.

Same here! But with my 2.5yo. His scream is so high pitch, it hurts. Bishop doesn't really scream.
