Caleb is now a screamer and it's going to put me over the edge. In the grocery store, in the resturant, at home, in the car, all the time. He screams and laughs at himself. He sounds like a bird of pry. How do I get him to stop?? We have been working on signing but he just screams as he signs. He laughs while he's doing it so it's not an angry scream but it's still loud, high pitched, and driving me crazy.

Lol! I'm sorry I know you probably don't think its funny. Aidyen does this all the time. No advice on how to get him to stop, but I know what you mean

I know what you mean, too! Oh my, Charlotte does it too. Sometimes it is embarrassing. Lol. Sometimes it is hard to tell if she is happy or mad, i have to see her expression when she does it. Lol. I sympathize.

I feel for you - thought I have to say it hasn't been bothering me. I hear it, I shush her, but really, as long as it's not whining, I'm seeming to be better with it. The whining (when it happens) makes me want to rip my own ears off somedays.

Not sure if this will help you but Kaileigh went through a phase from about month 9-10. She would scream just to scream! No a cry scream, but a laugh, happy scream! Hopefully this is a phase for him and it ends soon

Ethan screams ALL THE TIME too unless he's being held or gets 100% of your attention. Of course, I just think he's spoiled in his case lol!

hahahahahahha. I'm sorry you are going through this! But he's so cute and it's kinda funny.

My DH always screams back at Emmett when he screams? I'm embarrassed by both of them in public.

Ty has always been a screamer but now that he is older it is louder than ever. He screams with excitement all the time. We love it though and laugh at him He and Julia have screaming matches with each other. Julia can get carried away with her louds screams

No advice on getting him to stop at all.
