Father's day has been a bit depressing for me since my father died when i was eight. But now i have a reason to celebrate it, which makes me really excited! For Kevin's birthday this year i made him a birthday card and painted Sam's hands and made hand prints on the card...so i don't think i'll do that for Father's day...but maybe. I'm thinking of getting him an engraved wallet. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can do all kinds of outdoors stuff.

Do you have any ideas for what you plan to do for this Father's day?

Not sure yet what we're going to do, but Lyla is getting her Daddy a pizza cutter that is shaped like the Starship Enterprise! He can use it to cut up her waffles!! Oh, and his frozen pizzas!!

I have no idea, maybe we will go see FIL, derek got his present early so he wont have anything fun to open, i might have ross colour a card for him

Not sure but I guess now is a good time to figure something out even though I don't get the same consideration from him.. eh HEM!!! Maybe we'll make something to put in his wallet.

I hear ya! My df isnt very thoughtful either and for that reason he told me not to get him anything but Bah! I enjoy pleasing others and being thoughtful so just because he isnt doesnt mean i wont be! I' thinking of getting these made for him, but not sure what to have put on them. "You Rock! Love Sam. 2011"? You inspire me Dad. Sam 2011"? " Happy Fathers Day Dad Sam 2011"? I douno!

DH is getting a card. He will be gone for Father's Day. I might do a picture of them two when she was first born and a recent one but he won't get it till after he gets home.

That is a cute idea Sara.

I really have no clue. Dh is the thoughtful creative one in our family, so he always over does it. It's not that I am not thoughtful, I just feel like I can't get as creative or thoughtful as him so it always stresses me out.
