Juliana and I just got back from another trip to Atlanta. We were gone 4 days and during that time, Juliana learned to speed crawl, stand by herself, started babbling like crazy (which is an enormous relief because I actually took her to EI since she wasn't babbling at 9 months) and seems to be really close to walking on her own. She's also working on teeth #5 and #6. She's been busy! Has anyone else had a week that seemed like it was crazy full of developmental milestones? She's hardly the same baby she was a week ago!

That's awesome! Go Juliana Go!

Maggie's having a pretty good week. She's waving and saying Hi and Bye like she's on kiddy crack. It's been fun this week at our house too! And she just started pulling herself up to a standing position, and she's starting to walk while holding our hands (not well at all...she's still on tip toes. But she's getting there).

YES! Im so excited for you! They really do learn a lot in such a short amount of time. Im glad your relieved she's babbling more.

Yes, This week has been a major week too for us. She has began to walk more by herself, learned to wave the "right way", AND she said "hi". I was so excited! Oh and she now gives kisses on command. She used to kiss just randomly but now when we ask she kisses us all the time. I just love it!

Aww... that's so sweet. Sounds like she's going to be walking any day now!

Avery started crawling & pulling-up over night, but nothing as huge as standing on her own! I love that little wobbly baby/toddler stand & the baby Frankenstein walk. I can't wait for that.

How exciting! This time in infant development is so much fun.

Max is really starting to babble now and moving with more of a purpose across the room. He's not crawling yet but I can tell his rolling has a destination in mind.

We've been having that kind of week too!! She is starting to stand by herself (not an expert, but she'll push off the ground with her hands and sometimes not manage to fall on her butt), she is pulling up easily (with one-hand), talking as much as ever (she's always been super proficient inbabbling though) and repeating tons of words. She is also a speed demon with her crawl/scoot, as awkward as it looks!

Its crazy how for so long nothing major was happening, and now its changing on a daily basis. Oh, an expert at pincer grasp and feeding herself and now feeds herself from her newest sippy.

That is great! Jr had a week where he started pulling up, waving, and clapping. Sometimes I swear they secretly practice these things, and then just show off. Sounds like she is doing wonderful!
