Oh my gosh...I don't usually feel so emotional about this, but Kayla's episode is making me cry. I feel so bad for her...eating disorder, no support, neglectful mom. It's TERRIBLE.
I'm so upset for her and her baby.

Me too! It's obvious how she got were she is with a mom like that. I've also noticed almost all of these teen moms through the years don't have dads around.

I cried too, I just couldnt believe her mom would ASK her to go on a diet! Seriously?! What was she thinking by asking her daughter who was pregnant with an eating disorder to help her diet. I also feel the girls this season are really showing how hard it can be. I feel like some of the girls before had to much help, but now I feel bad because the girls now dont have much help. It has to be hard.

I watched it yesterday too! I couldn't believe her mom wouldn't let them hold off on rent until she graduated HS. I mean her mom was awful, I cried when she made plans for a "girls night" and then bailed on Kayla to go to a baseball game.

I couldn't stop thinking about that episode all last night for some reason. I dunno, that one really got to me. A lot of times, I think the parents really make it easy for teens to have babies. Not the case here and there were tons of other issues as well.
For those who missed it, you can watch the full episode online at MTV.com! (It's Kayla's episode).

I feel bad for her too! Her mom is awful & she was a teen mom too...you would think she would be a little more supportive. Sheesh. At least her bf seems like a good guy, supportive to her and the baby. She has awesome friends, too. At least she has some support.

I rarely watch it but the one episode with the twin baby girls and controlling boyfriend (season 2?) scared the crud out of me! Ugh! I told DH if my daughters become sexually active, they're going on the pill or bc shot or whatever...

I was telling DH about Kayla's episode. I just couldn't believe that every time I thought she couldn't be any worse, she was!! The worst was making the father pay $300 rent when he was only working part time so HER daughter could finish High School. I mean, the only support they needed was a place to live. They were doing everything on their own otherwise. Also, if my daughter had an eating disorder I couldn't imagine treating it the way she did. The dietician tried explaining how important it was for her to eat with people. Kayla even did her part by texting her mom that she felt hungry, but her mom had the AUDACITY to tell her to eat alone!!!!! WHAAAAT?!! Honestly someone needs to call CPS on that woman. She is not parenting in the best interest of the child. Maybe someone would foster Kayla and her baby. Then she would get the love/support she needs. I give MASSIVE kudos to the baby's father in this situation. He has been amazing for her, and also she is very lucky to have such amazing friends.

I was sad to hear (if you watch the "after show") that Kayla and baby daddy broke up. And all of her friends are going away to college. That poor girl is about to get hit in the face with it all.

That mom is a complete nut job. That poor girl...she doesn't stand a chance. I really hope she can get some guidance from somewhere. She seems like she's saying all of the right things in regards to how she wants her son's life to be, but I hope she can uphold to all of that. It's so unfair that her mom is such a poor example for her, and it makes me really sad that her and her BF broke up
