I'm just trying to figure out when I can say Nathan is walking. With my first child, when she was able to walk between DH and I or from one piece of furniture to another I started saying she was walking, even though she could only go so far before falling. I remember she took 3 steps at a time and I didn't count that as walking.

Nathan has been taking several steps at a time and is able to walk from one thing to another, but after seeing my 3.5 year old walking around it's hard for me to know if he would be considered a walker or not, you know?

So, at what point would YOU say your child can walk?

IMO if they can take a couple of steps to you or even between furniture, where they let go and take a few steps to get there, I consider that walking.

I agree with the others, when they can let go and take a few step between things. That is walking to me.
