Here lately every time we come out onto the porch there'll be a hummingbird hovering around. One day it almost landed on Jr in his swing. Then a couple of days ago, I was standing at the back door, just looking at the window, and it flew right up to the glass, and just hovered right in front of me for a bit. Well, me and Jr just came out side again, and there it was again...just right up close to us. So, I decided to look it up, and all sorts of stuff came up about them being a good sign, or good luck....

This was the first thing on the google list....

“Hummingbird is a very good sign. She is a good-luck messenger. She takes our prayers to the Great Creator. She is a doctor and healer. ...

I thought that was neat, and was a little relieved it didn't warn of some sort of impending doom. lol

I love hummingbirds, those little birds are very special to me. My grandmother passed away 10 days before Leila was born, and when my sister and I were little girls, every time we'd go over to her house, we'd help her fill up her hummingbird feeder, and then we'd all just sit there and wait and watch for them. In fact, we hung a hummingbird feeder in the tree right next to her grave, and fill it up every time we go

Aww great sign I have seen a couple hummingbirds this spring also, which is rare for me. I also love them and they too were my late grandpas favorite. He had the bird feeders outside his front door and always had me make fresh necter for them and put it in his feeders. I also think of my grandpa whenever I see them too
