Its nice you asked this. I started a few days ago I know I said I was waiting until 11 months but she is just done with bottles and formula so Im moving on a week sooner then planned.

Anyways, this is what I've done.

Cup of milk at 8:30 w/ breakfast.

Usually around 10 she gets a small snack of cheerios or crackers, etc, and I have a cup of water out all day for her to sip on as needed.

She eats lunch at 12 and I give her a cup of about 4oz with it.

Then she has a bottle at 4pm, she's only taking about 4 oz now that she's on all food mainly.(i just want her to have some formula because of her low iron at 9 months from not eating type any meet (no teeth to chew), but she needs to have iron checks at 1 yr again so we'll see about dropping her 1 bottle of formula then.

Then at 5:30ish we have dinner and she gets a cup of milk at dinner.

Then about 8pm she has a little snack of crackers or apples, or something, and goes to bed at 9.

So she is only getting 1 bottle a day and that is a formula bottle. She's had no problem at all taking a cup of cold milk. It's been a lot easier then I thought.

I remember with my first, I did a slow introduction to it, and had to heat up her milk a little at first, but not this time.

Shannon, when you cut out that last bottle, are you going to replace with milk or is she already getting enough for the day?

I have been planning on slowly getting Arie off of formula and transitioning to milk after she turns 1, but now I'm thinking I should start in the next few weeks. the reason being we are moving the day after her birthday and I don't want too many changes at once.

Im not sure because that bottle is sort of a "before dinner, to hold her over, bottle) and I put 6oz in it but she never takes it all, usually only about 4 oz. Im thinking of putting that formula in a cup today and giving her that at dinner. Im not even counting oz at all anymore in her cups. I never did with my oldest when she started milk. I just pour into a cup and give it to her. Im guessing it's 3-4oz in the cup? She is eating real meals 3x a day plus snacks so I feed her just like my 4 yr old and myself. We have a drink with meals, she is offered water through out the day and gets some juice with her snacks. She seems to be doing great with it. So far no bottles at all today and it's 2:30. I will see if she needs that 1 bottle at 4. If for some reason she's not giving up that 1 bottle yet, I will take it away cold turkey at 1.

Caleb is only on sippy cups now. He gets one 8oz sippy of formula in the morning, milk during the day and one more formula sippy before bed. He eats breakfast, has a snack, eats lunch, has a snack, than has dinner. I will take away the morning formula sippy in a few weeks....the night one I'm not sure when.
