Anyone have a video monitor they are really happy with? I want to get a handheld one that has really great picture quality. I was thinking about getting this one:

Amazon.com: Summer Infant Best View Handheld Color Video Monitor with 2.5" Screen: Baby

but wanted to see what other people had and if they are happy with theirs. We weren't going to get a video monitor but since Arie sleeps on a mattress on the ground and is now mobile, I'd rather be safe then sorry. Thanks!

We have the same one but the "updated & improved" version for 2011 (There's only a $19 price difference)

Amazon.com: 3l Best View Summer Infant Pan/scan Baby Monitor Redesign: Baby

I don't know what the big differences are but we LOVE ours. Even DH last night told his dad (he's visiting), "I thought this would be a complete waste of money, but we love it."

(We still use our Graco Angelcare recievers too because it shows temperature)

I don't think we're overly paranoid or anything but sometimes she talks in her sleep, but she's still sleeping. I'll open the door to get her and THAT wakes her up. I usually wait a minute or two to make sure she's really ready to wake up (if she is, she stands and starts knocking her pacifier on the crib while babbling) because 90% of the time I'll see her sit up, grab her blanket, and fall back asleep for another hour or two.

I have this one and like it. I have 2 add'l cameras added so there is a camera on each boy and Leah. It doesn't have a great battery life. I am able to go across the street into the neighbors driveway and the house next to theirs. I would highly recommend getting the added warranty just in case something happens with it.

I also wanted to add that on my handheld I noticed there's an AV outlet, so you could hook it up to a TV or computer monitor! (So if you ever wanted a big screen!)
