Time to brag about what your little one has recently learned to say or do that really excites you!

He has learned how to escape from practically any barricade we can put up. He certainly is developing his critical thinking skills lol!

He blows saliva bubbles. He just sits there, opens his mouth wide and makes these big bubbles. He does it over and over again.
He also climbs on everything! He has this low shelf in his bedroom that he climbs onto in order to look out he window. He tries climbing on the couch, but can't quite make it yet.
He can also climb the stairs! He gets really mad when I put the gate up. Crazy monkey!

About a week ago Juliana began speed crawling, standing on her own, and babbling all in the same week! Also, now I can say "Juliana, clap your hands" and she'll do it without seeing it first. Same with waving bye-bye. She's connected the word and the action! And my favorite, I can say "Where's Mommy's nose?" and she'll point to it. She won't do the same with her own nose though. Maybe it's because she can't see it? I've been meaning to try it with her in front of the mirror to see what happens. I love this age!

Maggie has learned how to say and wave "Hi". She enjoys this so much she does it all day long.

What I'm super pumped about though are two things.

One, she's pulling herself up to standing, and showing huge interest in trying to walk. She may not be walking by her birthday, but it won't be long at all!
AND, she's just addicted to her books. All of them. Looooves them. I think she would like to marry them one day. She gets mad if I don't let her flip the pages. But when she flips a page, she's intensely looking at the pictures on the page. It's not just the flipping she's interested in, and this makes me so proud!

Max learned how to clap. He's so cute, he claps, pauses and whispers "yay" and looks like his hands like they performed a miracle in front of his face. I love it!

Kaileigh's best milestone this week is kisses!!! I mean, she would kiss every now and then before and usually mouth closed, but now she is miss kisser! She will kiss anyone and anything anytime you ask her too. It is the sweetest thing to get kisses from my baby girl, especially because she opens so wide when she kisses now.

The most recent thing is scrambling up the stairs..oh and getting out of bed herself (granted, this is just a matress on the floor) without making a peep and going exploring. Hence the reason I was asking about video monitors in the other thread!

She is also waving hi and bye...its funny how kids do things in such different orders. I know some babies were waving so many months ago, but Arie just started recently, yet she's been kissing/clapping/dancing/playing peekabo for months.

My mom's BFF taught Avery "so big" this weekend. Aunt Rose would ask "Avery, how big are you?" & Avery will hold her arms out wide & Rose says "sooooo big." It's adorable. She also started blowing kisses over the weekend.

She points to things & pictures in books & says "dat". I'm not sure if its an Avery word or if she's actually saying "that", but she always looks at me expectantly when she does it, so I tell her "That is a dog" or whatever. Either way, it's adorable.

She's cruising, which means she can get into more stuff now...

My kiddos are so different! At this age Ethan was walking like a champ, but he didn't do all the little things Avery is. He didn't do things like "so big" & he didn't really get interested in books & pictures until after his 1st birthday.

If Sean says, "Hi Sophie!" she'll say "Hi Dad!" haha.

She has started saying "Mom" with a british accent (Mum) not really a milestone but I think it's hilarious.

Noah is now a pro at pulling himself up on everything and can now cruise in both directions and he's getting braver at letting go of furniture.

Kellen will go up to anyone or anything when you say 'awww' and he'll lay his head down and say 'awww' back. It's the cutest thing. He's such a cuddler. He also loves to put is head on the ground and stick his butt in the air and try to do a summersault by bending and straightening his legs. He likes to clap with his right hand doing all the work and using a lot of concentration so the hands meet. "So big" is on que now - his arms go right up in the air followed by more clapping.
