Lunch and dinner meals are easy around here, but breakfast is a challenge. Lyla is not into oatmeal of any kind and really doesn't like fruit. She loves waffles and yogurt so that's been our go-to for breakfast. It's getting old, so does anybody have any suggestions for breakfast meals?

Ross likes yogurt and apple sauce. He also loves toast, bagels, eggs and fruit slices

Our pedi said no eggs until her first birthday. Is anybody else following this "rule"?

I was really nervous about it, but I just gave my LO egg yolk on Saturday. My Ped. recommends trying the yolk first, then the white so that if there's a reaction we will know which part of the egg caused it. he has had no problems though. they said it would be ok to try between 7-9 months old. My mom told me to just give him a tiny bit to start, like a 1/4 teaspoon then a little more each day. Also she told me to soft boil the egg so the yolk is a little runny because she thinks hard boiled eggs are hard to digest - not sure if there is any truth to that but thats what she believes.

My LO wont eat oatmeal anymore either! He refuses anything on a spoon. For now I have been giving him a ton of cheerios & fruit. I'm not sure what else to try so that is why I'm introducing him to eggs.

I'm still following it, I haven't given him eggs yet. I feed him pancakes, waffles, yogurt, toast, cheerios and sliced up fruit.
