is that CARPET, in the first one? don't like the carpet, or the glass table. but I love how that room makes me feel.
if I had to pick, I would go with #2

First one. I'd lose the carpet though and put hardwood. Not that practical with kids constantly dropping food!

that if i have to pick one... that ...... the white carpet would be a polka dot pattern after a week in the 1st one

I like the first one but NOT with the glass table. I had a glass table in the kitchen and that was the biggest mistake we ever did with having kids. But I definitely like the modern look.

The colors of the first room with the style of the second room. I'm a traditional girl, but the blue doesn't belong in a dining room.
