Deserae is finally off formula! we started last week. I did half half until the formula was gone. yesterday she went to school with just milk!!! She's doing awesome! my baby is growing up soo fast!

YAY Desi! I started today with getting her off formula and I busted out in tears when I gave her the whole milk. Im getting so emotional as the days pass by and we get closer to June 24th.

awww! im sad that Desi is turning one but Im just so excited about it too b/c she will be able to play with Jas more. i mean they play now but to be able to do more. 1 yr olds is my favorite age!

I am too. She's down to 1 bottle of formula a day but Im having a HUGH problem. We use the concentrate cans and I get 3 8oz bottles and 1 6oz, and it's good for 48 hours. But we're having to toss 2 bottles every 2nd day, so I'm getting close to just giving her all milk. I thought about trying powder but she's never been able to tolerate it, and I hate to buy a can and not be able to even use it.

Also, after a week of whole milk I've come to the conclusion she cant tolerate cow milk like my oldest. She's throws up all day and has diarrhea with it. So Im just giving her soy milk again and she's perfect with it. Looks like I will be buying soy for both girls now. I will need to talk to her pedi if she's going to need any type of supplements or anything, since she just cant tolerate whole milk. I forget what we did with my oldest since she couldn't tolerate it either,

We have been on whole milk for a few months now. But between her and Samantha, we buy a gallon of milk every other day. Still cheaper then formula.
