Im updating the calendar on our birthdays and anniversaries.
If you want to be included respond with:
First name
Dob- ( Dont have to include year, just month and day)
If you want anniversary include Dh's first name only and your anniversary date.
If your like me, and celebrate wedding AND dating anniversary that is fine too, just add it

Im being completely serious. I was born in 85. I know what 8 track tapes are because my mom had some in her basement. I just did a google search on lp

You would recognize it when you see them. They are records. LP stands for Long Playing.

I feel so old some days.
I remember vividly the first time I had to explain this to someone...I think I cried then. I want to cry harder now...lol
Vinyl records came in 3 different sizes 33's, 45's, and 78's. Each size indicated the revolutions per minute you would get from each album, and the larger the album, the more tracks would fit on it. Once you finished listening to the music on one side, you would flip it to the "B" side to hear the rest of the songs. Still in all, there weren't as many tracks on an lp as you would find on a cd now (max 11-14 on most lps). By the time I was in my double digits and starting to listen to music on my own record player, the primary size were 45's. The availability of 8 tracks and lps ran in parallel for a good decade before cassettes replaced 8 tracks. This would have been around the same time all of you were born...(hanging head in disbelief that this even came out of my mouth). LPs still hung on when cassettes were introduced, but only for a short while. You couldn't leave them in hot places (ie. in front of windows in your house) because they would warp and be ruined.
LMAO...wow...I hope we're all around here together in 10 more years. I want to be there when you guys have the same realizations I'm having now...hahahaha.
