Well, a little background. Ds1 & ds2 I didn't bf very long and AF returned within 6 weeks of weaning. My next 4 I EBF and AF returned about a year and I was still bfing. So with Natalie since I've been supplementing since 3 weeks I thought it would return sooner. She's been down to nursing once at night for a while now and actually has skipped an entire day here and there. I was sure AF would be returning. I am using the Marquette method of NFP so I'm using CBEFM with it. I've gotten a peak on it twice now which indicates I should be ovulating, but then AF never showed so I clearly tried to ovulate and then didn't. I started charting temps to go along with so I could see this time if I actually ovulated so I didn't make myself crazy like I did last time I got a peak looking for AF. From my temp chart I have not ovulated yet either. It's driving me bonkers at this point. I'd rather just have AF then keep thinking I'm going to ovulate and then not. It's just so weird to me that she's almost 10 months and barely nursing. Who else doesn't have AF back and how much are you bfing?

(Oh in case somebody is wondering I have taken a pregnancy test just to be sure, but my temps are clearly showing that I didn't ovulate.) My chart for anyone interested - My Chart

AF hasn't returned for me yet either but I am still breastfeeding as his main food supply. He eats finger foods several times a day but doesn't get anything to drink except breastmilk. I probably nurse him about 7 times in a 24 hour period. I haven't been charting or using CBEFM or anything but there have been a couple of times that I was sure AF was going to start and then never did. I'd be happy if she stayed away forever.

no AF here yet either, and I am surprised. I'm still BF'ing, but Nathan gets maybe 4 oz of formula 1-3x per week. he bf's about 6x a day, including night feedings. and he eats meals with us and has finger foods throughout the day.

I have also been sure AF would start up, sometimes I think "okay, here she comes" and she never actually shows.

NO AF here and I am getting aggravated. I want to have another baby

I am BF still though. I pump 3 times a day at work and then feed him 3-5 more times again throughout the evening and early morning hours.

No AF here yet either! I stopped breast-feeding full time almost 2 months ago. Suzannah was still having ridiculous reactions all the time so we just put her on nutramigen. I would have thought that not breastfeeding for 2mo would have brought on AF. We arent on B/C, just using condoms. Freaks me out sometimes, but not enough to test....lol

Still no AF for me either. But basing it off of my last two babies, it doesn't surprise me. I went over a yr before getting the witch back with both of them.

I'm pretty sure my body has tried Ovulating a few times too. I get worse PMS when I ovulate than when I'm about to start AF. And I've had a few days when I just felt SUPER PMSish.

I'll actually be a little bit happy to get AF back bc as it is now I have terrible acne and my hair and nails are thin and Dr. thinks it is from BFing screwing up my hormones.

Oh and I WANT MY SEX DRIVE BACK!

No AF here either. We are exclusively BF and she gets solids 3x a day plus cheerios as many as she wants.

Teresa, even though you don't get AF you can ovulate. My friend got pregos while breastfeeding w/o AF. Big surprise for her. Crossing fingers for you that it will happen for you soon.
