How often are you nursing now?

I am wondering how Ty is comparing to others. My sister thinks I nurse him a lot, but I dont think so.

He nurses back to sleep when he wakes at night (we co-sleep) anywhere from 2-6 times depending on if he is teething it seems. He nurses on demand all day, and I nurse him to sleep for both naps and bedtime, but he is usually so tired he doesnt nurse long before he is asleep, maybe 10 minutes tops? I guess his on demand nursing, not including naps/bedtime, is around 4-5 times a day? He also gets a cuppy of water throughout the day and mealtimes.

Eva is down to once in the morning, once before bed and one to three times in the night. I'm worried it's not enough.

I nurse at around 5-6am every morning (She wakes up to nurse, goes right back to sleep) BUT sometimes she'll sleep through this and just wake up for the day at her normal time.

I usually nurse anytime she first wakes up. So in the morning when she gets up for good, I'll nurse (this is anywhere between 8-10am, lol) and then two more times (whenever she wakes up from naps) and at bedtime. She only nurses good for about 10 minutes, then she starts being "silly" --- she'll start "talking", pointing at my boob, standing up and then deciding she'll want to nurse, so she'll be standing and doing it...and she laughs haha.

Sometimes she'll randomly come up to me during the afternoon and put her face on my chest and rub her face (We jokingly call it motorboating, lol, ahhh bad parents) so I'll let her nurse then too. If we are out running around town it's obviously a lot less than this but on a plain ol' day at home, this is what we're doing still. So yeah, we're definitely still "on-demand".

So I guess that's 5-8 times? She has a sippy throughout the day. Everytime she wakes up for a nap I just give her a new one and she carries it around with her, sits it places, lol

I'm pretty sure we'll still be nursing at 24 months but I'm really okay with that.

We are down to 4 times per day!!!! He kinda did this schedule on his own.

6am, noon, 4pm and 7pm (when I'm not working...otherwise he gets a bottle with DH)

I plan to start weaning at a year. We are going to drop the 7pm feeding first. That way, he will be going to be without a bottle (he already does naps without boob/bottle).

we are finally getting a good nighttime thing down i nurser her after bath, zach rocks to her to sleep, puts her in her crib and she'll sleep until 12-1 when i go to get her and bring her in bed with us. she nurses then and then wakes up around 2 but i tell her that milkies are all gone and no milkies (why we had the "y" sound to end of words at our house I have no idea ) and she fusses but will lay her head on me and fall asleep until 4ish where I'll nurse her again and then she'll wake again around 6-7 and i'll try to nurse her back to sleep for a couple more hours and sometimes that works and sometimes that doesnt.

as far as nursing during the day, no schedule...whenever she wants it. sometimes that's 6-8 times and sometimes it's somewhere around 3. she gets a sippy of water with every meal but i'm actually starting to think about putting milk in it too.

i am having huge issues with her teeth and only on one breast. her top teeth rub my right nipple and it's SO painful that I almost cry when it's time to nurse on that side the only relief i get is if i tilt her way down (so that she's nearly upside down) to get some of the pressure off the top teeth. i'm hoping that once they come all the way in, it will get better? but it's SO bad

oh and if we get this right nipple teething thing resolved, i'll go for as long as she wants (within reason )

I do about 4/day. When she wakes up I nurse her, she gets 2 bottles at daycare and then I nurse her right before bedtime. I'm going to stop pumping at the end of this month and then will only nurse her 2/day and give her milk at daycare. I'm going to nurse as long as she has an interest in it. Kyla gave it up after a year, but I think Rachel is going to go longer.

I have been supplementing with formula the last month or so because of the boys being in baseball so I would nurse 2-6 times a day depending on what day it was. But the last week I have not been nursing at all except in the middle of the night when he wakes.

I nurse on demand, but I work from home and even though I leave my office to offer several times per day, she's not interested (other than maybe a sip here and there) from about 7 am - 1 pm. However, she still nurses throughout the night, and nurses down to sleep for quite a while. I think the teeth play a role because we've had a few nights where she's slept amazingly well (8-9 hours!) but the last few nights she's been up 5-7 times again. If I had to guess, I'd say she's nursing about 3-4 times nursing the day and anywhere from 2-7 times during the night. I don't have the heart to night wean, even though I'd really really like to. I just keep thinking in another month or two she'll do better on her own.

He nurses on average about 3 times a day. He does get milk in a cup with meals now too. Max sleeps through the night and has never been one to fall asleep while nursing so I think it's just his personality, he wants milk then he's done and now that he's crawling he wants to be on the go and not in my arms.

About 4-5 times a day plus a few at night when he stirs and can't find his boobie! We will nurse in the morning when he is starting to wake up, then around 10 for his morning nap, then around 12:30 or 1 for his afternoon nap, sometimes around 4 for a late nap and then at bedtime after his bath around 9. He is a total booby boy and I know that we will be nursing well past 2

Noah nurses first thing when he wakes up so 7, 11:30, 3, and he also nurses before bed so 9:30, 1:30 and then at bedtime around 9 also if he wakes up at night so 6-8 times a day. He also has a sippy during the day and we've started giving him alittle milk at meals. I'm hoping in a couple months to wean him off of a couple of those, we'll see.

I'd say about 5 or 6 times a day on average, but he still nurses 3 or 4 times a night too. We're definitely still nursing on demand and I won't encourage weaning anywhere near this young. I'd like to get to at least two again.

We're nursing on demand, probably 6+ times during the day and 2 times at night.

Sounds normal to me. We're on demand too. He doesn't nurse as much while he's busy during the day, mostly before naps/bedtime (maybe 4 times/day). He generally wakes around 2 & 4am for feeds at night, but that also depends on teething/comfort.
