I didn't know that he didn't get shots at the nine month visit so it was a pleasant surpise. It was overall a great check up, even though he is only in the 20th percentile for weight weiging in at 17.14 lbs. He is 26.5 inches long which is 50th percentile and his head was in 42 inches int he 75th percentile. She told me not to worry about the weight yet but try to get him to eat more "people" food, which I am really bad at since I am always afraid of choking but we will work on it. I also brought up him getting up to eat in the middle of the night and she said "so feed him"...lol. I was thinking she would tell me to let him cio as that is what her nurse told me to do. BTW... I do feed him when he gets up...

So overall it went pretty well, hopefully I can plump him up some.

Yeah, Bree, the shot schedule here is different than in Canada. Canada's has the shots spaced out more so they don't have to get so many of them at the same time. But, we don't have to get shots at 9 months either so that is nice.

Sounds like Tommy is doing great. What has his weight been at for previous appointments (percentage wise)? Isaac is in the 5th% so I think the 20th% sounds just great. I wouldn't worry about his weight at all. I'm glad your doctor told you to just feed him when he wakes up in the middle of the night rather than recommending CIO.

Glad he is doing well. I felt bad since Rosie had to get 1 shot yet at hers. And that one shot seemed way worse then all her previous ones for her.

Sounds like things with Tommy are great! Don't worry about the weight as long as he's healthy. Hallie was only 16 lb 6 oz at her 9 month checkup if that makes you feel any better. And that night feeding isn't gonna hurt anything...if he's like Hallie, those extra calories are only going to help!!

He has always been on the lighter side, 50 percentile was the highest he has been and that was at his first check up. He doesn't seem to gain much, she wasn't too too concerned.

I know, I can't let him out of site when I give him real food. I finally gave him some noodles and carrots this weekend, he did really well with them. I think the more I give them to him the less nervous I will be.
