I didn't expect her for a few more months. So far she's coming in light, but I'm scared based on some things I've heard about first pp AFs.

Honestly as much as I hated AF pre-pregnancy I have found a whole new appreciation post-pregnancy...I feel more 'normal' having it. And for some reason, its not as painful as it used to be.

So far mine isn't very painful either. I barely noticed the cramps. And it will be nice to be normal in a way. I noticed my sex drive returning to normal a couple of weeks ago and I guess this explains it.

My first pp af was actually lighter than normal but since then has become heavier, I think it has to do with still bf.

That's amazing that you almost made it to a year w/o having an AF. Yay for BFing! My first PP AF was light and uneventful. However, my second and third weren't very pretty...maybe it'll be different for you.

I just got mine a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all (aside for the tampon issue that I posted in the Hideaway...grr). I also noticed feeling more "normal" sex drive wise too.

Honestly, my AFs were waaaaaay easier after Ethan (and so far Avery) than they were pre-baby. More regular, no cramps & shorter. Not all post-baby AF stories are horror stories.

My sex drive didn't return until I was totally done BFing either time, but I never got an AF while I was BFing either, so I'm not sure which was the culprit.

My AFs after pregnancy were a lot easier! Sorry she returned but I agree that it was nice to resume a normal cycle.
