Maggie's first year check up and vaccines were this afternoon. She did great. Cried a bit for the shots but it was short lived. She's 18lbs, 9.5ozs and 71 cm (28 inches) tall. Fine motor skills and mobility are good and normal. Then he asked me about communication.

I told him I thought she was doing really well. She's always pointing at things and asking "what's this?" I don't think he believed me til she said it in front of him. That's when he told me they don't usually do this til 2 yrs old. I was surprised. She's been saying two words together and two syllable words for a while now.

Anyway...I'm not pushing anything on her, and I'm not going around thinking I have a genius on my hands, but I am so proud. And I just had to share it. She's so curious and smart!

Awww congrats momma!!! I wish my little guy was Maggie's size! He's a lug and it kills my back lol at least until he starts walking!
