So today was grocery shopping day and Rosie and I are walking along trying to get out of there as quickly as I can since we have already missed her morning nap and she was borderline getting annoyed. So this old man stops me and asks how old Rosie is and saying how cute she is and all that. And he goes well I have something for you. and reaches in his pocket. I am thinking candy and thinking well she's 9 months old but he means well so I will accept and we will be on our way. Nope he pulls out his wallet. Now I am going okay what is this going to be.
He pulls out a dollar hands it to Rosie and says this is for your college fund. I was shocked. Was able to say no thats okay, and he goes no, I set aside money to give each week to random kids. and the reason why is he gave a girl yrs ago in his church 5.00 for her college fund. She has since graduated and she sent a thank you note thanking him for that 5.00. So he has made it his personal goal each week to hand out a 1.00 to random kids up to a certain amount a week.
I thought it was pretty awesome. All the while Rosie is looking at him like who the heck are you. Hey at least she wasn't crying..lol

Yeah it really was nice. So for now its sitting in her money box. I really was taken back by it because well stuff like that just don't happen. But it was pretty awesome.

awesome, its actually happened to us twice, Mya has recieved a $5 and $1. In both cases I kept refusing while saying thanks anyways, but they shoved it in her carseat n ran saying they wont take no for an answer lol
