Desi has been on a schedule since day one! haha. well almost. Her bedtime is 8pm but since its daylight still its 8:30. she wakes up at aroun 5-30, gets a sippy cup of milk and goes back to sleep for another hour. then she will wake up for the day. Nap around 10 and another nap in the late afternoon. It works out great! I pretty much have her bedtime 30 min before jasmine. Sleeping routine is working!!!

We've got one too and have from day one too, but it's been more of a routine that seems to have found it's way into a schedule.

She's up btwn 6 and 7, Down for a nap between 8:30 and 10. Lunch around noon. And nap again sometime btwn 2 and 3. Bed time is always by 7:30-8. With few exceptions. She doesn't do too badly with the odd off day if it's not often or too frequently. We have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us with travelling, so I'm gearing up for a hard week at home after it's done.

Yes Ma'am. She has been on one since I went back to work when she was 8 weeks. I wake her and her brother up and dress them for daycare about 615ish. We try to be out the door no later than 645. She has a nap at daycare about 10am and another nap about 230pm. We get home around 530. Dinner at around 7pm, baths at 8pm. London's bedtime is 830 and Caden's is 9.

Ours is pretty similar. I didn't set a dedicated schedule (i.e. "It's 10am you have to nap now") but we developed a routine that he kind of set and it turned into a schedule. He's normally up between 5 and 6 and naps around 9, another one around 1 and bed time around 7. We do play it pretty loose so the times do vary day by day but he pretty much sticks that or something similar.

Yeah we're pretty rigid with our schedule here, but it can vary in place. So he's flexible to take his morning nap at our house, at his babysitters or even in the car if we are going. He will also eat on time no matter where we are, but we have different foods depending on where we are, you know? Because of my job, I never know what we'll be doing from day to day, so it is good that we keep him on that schedule.

For sleep, he goes down at 8-8:30 depending on our day and sleeps until about 6, but I don't get him or his brother out of bed until about 7:30. They play in the room quietly usually. It is rare they cry when they wake up.

We have a schedule but not really because we try to enforce one, just because things seem to happen at about the same time every day.

Juliana wakes up about 7 am, but occasionally I'm lucky and she sleeps in a bit. First nap is about 10:30 - 11:30 or occasionally noon. Second nap is about 4-5:30. Bedtime is about 9 pm.

I do wish she could go to bed just a little earlier, around 8:30 pm, so DH and I could have more Mom & Dad time in the evenings. I don't want her to wake up any earlier though, LOL!

YES, YES ,YES!My kids thrive on a schedule (so do I)! It makes my life a lot easier. She goes to bed the same time every.single.night. She gets up the same times everyday. We have a set lunch and dinner time, and snack time.

We are... pretty much Ethan & Avery fell into a routine & I try to keep it consistant for them. It varies a bit from day to day based on who's at home with them (me, Mike or our nanny), but essentially naps & meals happen at the same time every day. Ethan has always thrived when he was on a schedule, so that's what I did when he was a baby. Avery is much more flexible, so essentially, she has ended-up on Ethan's schedule (with 2 naps instead of 1).

As far as vacations go, it never takes E & A more than 2 days to get back into their regular routines after we get home. It's like they know what to expect, so they don't fight me on it.

I have my fingers crossed that this will be our experience. Essentially, I'm taking her cross border shopping for 3 days with the grandmothers...the trip isn't what makes me nervous about her routine - it's the grandmothers. Then we're back for 4 or 5 days, and then we're off again to Ottawa (5hr drive) for a long weekend with friends of ours who have two girls (1 is just a week younger than Maggie). I figure by the time we get back from round two, she should be sufficiently screwed up routine wise.

Why do I do these things to myself?

Absolutely, it's the only way I can stay sane with a 2 yr old and 11 month old twins. All 3 are on a schedule and sleep 12 hrs at night, go down for all their naps without any problems. The boys are awake at 8am, nap at 10:15 and 2pm and in bed by 7:30-7:45. They even put themselves to sleep I just put them in their crib wide awake and they just play until they fall asleep. I am sooo very blessed.

Very scheduled here...I have to be with three little ones Kellen is up between 7 and 8am, takes a 2 hour nap around 11am, takes another cat nap around 4pm and then is in bed for the night by 7:30pm. When I take him upstairs each night and lay him in his crib, he rolls right over and starts singing himself to sleep. He loves his crib (as did my girls) which is what we always tried to encourage from 9 weeks on with the babes (for everyone's sanity).
