I told darwin thats how she is. and he didnt believe till he had her and jasmine home yesterday! if we let her she can eat all day non stop! Are there any of your lo's the same??? so now i feel like we have to measure what she eats!

Aaron eats constantly too and when we talked to the ped. about it at his 9 month check-up she said don't worry about it since he's so thin and that when babies start walking they burn so many calories that their need sky rockets and they won't over eat at this age. So my advice is that unless she's overweight (like to the point the doctor is concerned) then I would let her eat as much as she wants so just make sure she gets a variety and healthy options, etc.

Maggie eats pretty well at mealtimes, but I've also noticed that if I have a snack or something different even at mealtimes, she wants some. It's got nothing to do with whether or not she's hungry. She's just got a lot of curiousity and wants whatever I'm having. Yesterday, I had raw vegetables with my lunch (which I've never given her because she doesn't have any back teeth. She threw a fit until she could try biting off a bit of celery and carrot to give it a try. She's eager to give these pegs a work out.

I wish, I feel like she doesn't eat enough. Of course, she is still getting 5 bottles of formula a day.

oh that makes me feel so much better! Desi eats EVERYTHING and anything. yesterday we had tuna sandwhich. and it had tomatoes, onions and cheese. she ate half of a sandwich and Jas didnt eat the other half. its crazy how different they are when it comes to food. and she drinks her water with no problem too! desi isnt overweight but im afraid it will get there if i just let her eat. Her one year appt is July 14th so im eager to see how much she weighs.

Both my kids are big eaters too. Neither are picky either. My oldest will eat raw tomatos as a snack (at HER request). She eats spicy things and eats anything we give her. Kaileigh eats anything and everything we offer her. Sometimes I worry I feed them to much but neither are overweight, ect, so Im not concerned as of yet. Kaileigh will eat and then want bites of everything we are eating. Glad mine arent the only ones that seem to eat all the time.
